Framed by lava fields, glacier rivers and sweeping black-sand beaches, our Jeep Wrangler with a rooftop tent became a rolling basecamp. The 4×4 glided from the quiet bends of the Golden Circle to rough Eastern tracks, swapping tarmac for gravel without fuss. Each night we popped the tent in minutes, sharing hot drinks as the sky full of winter stars hung overhead.
The project set out to show how Go Campers makes it easy to explore Iceland on your own terms. Extra blankets and snug sleeping bags kept us warm when the temperature dropped; and on gentler days we unzipped the windows to catch the first light over moss-covered hills. Filming, shooting and writing on the move, we captured the simple thrill of choosing any road, stopping in quiet spots, and waking up to a new view every single day.
